Original Healing Build --
(note : I don't use this. It was on the old forums and I wanted to keep it to show the changes since then)

Code:
( Pawn: v1: "Healing": Intellect=1.2, SpellCritRating=0.35, Agility=0.075, Armor=0.006, Spirit=1.2, BlockValue=0.03, BlockRating=0.25, RedSocket=7.4, Resilience=0.6, YellowSocket=8.5, Healing=0.95, MetaSocket=21.1, SpellHitRating=0.2, DodgeRating=0.4, BlueSocket=8.5, Stamina=1, SpellPower=0.95, Mp5=2.25 )

I'm sort of new to druids, and I'm seeing now that builds will greatly affect how you look at certain stats. (yeah bando, that was obvious) I'm going to try to build different Pawn scales based on builds.

Please note, that I'll be the first to admit that I am not the best with the formulas. If you think my numbers are off, please tell me so. I'm also going to try to simplify the scales to use whole numbers. (if that is possible)

First Draft - DreamState
Code:
( Pawn: v1: "Dreamstate": Stamina=4, Intellect=8, Spirit=5, SpellHitRating=1, SpellCritRating=1, Resilience=1, Mp5=10, Hp5=1, Mana=1, SpellPower=6, Healing=6, RedSocket=15, YellowSocket=10, BlueSocket=10, MetaSocket=20, Health=1 )

Second Draft - Dreamstate
(I cut the numbers in half)
Code:
( Pawn: v1: "Dreamstate" : Stamina=2, Intellect=4, Spirit=2.5, SpellHitRating=0.5, SpellCritRating=0.5, Resilience=0.5, Mp5=5, Hp5=0.5, Mana=0.5, SpellPower=3, Healing=3, RedSocket=7.5, YellowSocket=5, BlueSocket=5, MetaSocket=10, Health=0.5 )

Tweaked the DreamState build just a bit more.

I altered the crit and hit lower. Dont need them as much.
I raised the int. It should reflect more accurately based on the Dreamstate Healing Build.

Code:
( Pawn: v1:"DreamState" : Stamina=2, Intellect=5, Spirit=2.5, SpellHitRating=0.25, SpellCritRating=0.25, Resilience=0.5, Mp5=5, Hp5=0.5, Mana=0.5, SpellPower=3, Healing=3, RedSocket=7, YellowSocket=5, BlueSocket=5, MetaSocket=10, Health=0.5)

I'm currently working on sth like that. Since 2.4 a lot of things changed and Dreamstate-times are over anyway...

Here is the healer scale I've found to be most effective. Keep in mind that in Tree of Life form, 25% of your spirit adds to your bonus healing, making it have a significant advantage over plain mp5. Even so, mp5 is very important because it doesn't matter if you're casting or not, it still applies. Also, as with any healbot, armor isn't as important. Much of the time wearing cloth gives much better healing stats than leather.. which accounts for the low weight on the armor part. But it's still there. Finally in WotLK, Improved Tree of Life will double your armor and increase your spirit bonus healing from 25% to 40%.

Code:
( Pawn: v1: "Druid: Resto": Intellect=0.73, SpellCritRating=0.23, Mana=0.02, ResilienceRating=1, ShadowResist=0.5, IsCrossbow=-9999, Spirit=1.756, IsThrown=-9999, IsBow=-9999, MetaSocket=10, AllResist=0.6, Hp5=0.5, SpellPower=0.814, Mp5=3.945, IsWand=-9999, CritRating=0.23, HasteRating=0.23, DefenseRating=0.02, IsGun=-9999, IsPolearm=-9999, RedSocket=7.5, IsAxe=-9999, IsSword=-9999, Stamina=0.07, Healing=0.814, Armor=0.02, SpellHitRating=0.23, HitRating=0.23, BlueSocket=5, FireResist=0.5, YellowSocket=5, SpellPenetration=0.23 )

Any comments or criticisms are welcome

It's worth noting that in my personal version I hacked the lua file so that the armor types are included in my scales, and assigned a negative value to shield, plate, and mail. That way you can't get distracted by high values on a great plate helm, for example. But since I'm the only one in the world with that version of Pawn (tee hee) I edited those out of my scales pasted here.

Also, my scales are purposefully balanced so that at level 50, an extremely well geared player will have a total value of roughly 500. Naturally the scale won't be linear and by level 60 it'll be 700-800, but it's a basis for comparison nonetheless.

I am a feral druid most of the time, but i like to keep a set of healing gear around. If you don't get the resto talents does anyone know how these stats weights might change? is spirit more important without tree of life? or things like that?

Thanks,
Matt

I've used this scale to gear up my raiding WOTLK resto druid:

( Pawn: v1: "Resto Gear": Intellect=10, RedSocket=396.53, CritRating=8.1, MetaSocket=661.75, Health=0.27, Spirit=20, HasteRating=8.1, BlueSocket=320, YellowSocket=267.83, SpellPower=20.87, Mp5=33.75, Stamina=2.7 )

In practice, it may over-emphasize spirit over spell power too much for the tastes of other druids. Feel free to adjust those values to suit. Look me up on the armory (Greenman on Lothar US) if you want to see how my stats are working out with this plan.

Previous value strings, as mentioned put far too much emphasis on spirit. The following string is taken from the current state of the art in druid gear choices as expertly analyzed here on EJ: http://elitistjerks.com/1045397-post219.html

These numbers will give you far better Mp5 in combat and much better use of spell power and intellect.

( Pawn: v1: "Druid: Tree": IsWand=-9999, SpellPenetration=0.23, Mana=0.02, CritRating=0.1433, ResilienceRating=1, IsAxe=-9999, ShadowResist=0.5, HasteRating=0.2006, IsCrossbow=-9999, YellowSocket=5, Stamina=0.07, IsPolearm=-9999, IsGun=-9999, BlueSocket=5, RedSocket=7.5, Spirit=0.4598, IsThrown=-9999, Armor=0.02, IsBow=-9999, MetaSocket=10, IsSword=-9999, IsLeather=1.125, DefenseRating=0.02, AllResist=0.6, Hp5=0.5, FireResist=0.5, SpellPower=0.6579, Mp5=1, Intellect=0.5625 )
